The Be Reel Productions and Rufus Curry, Jr. brands are staged to grow exponentially. As a writer, actor, professional speaker and author Curry is set to take Be Reel to the highest level of success. The son of a high school band director and jazz musician and an elementary school language arts teacher, he was encircled with creativity and talent from his entry into the world. The death of his father when he was four years old, created an environment where he would escape into his imagination and create elaborate fantasies, complete with characters and storylines. Jumping at any opportunity to take the stage, Rufus acted, co-produced and directed theatrical presentations at Mt. Hermon A.M.E. Church, Nova High School and at his home church.
